Manuptocancer is committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of its staff, volunteers, beneficiaries and other people who come into contact with the charity through all of its diverse range of activities.

Manuptocancer has policies and guidance in place which set out the steps that Manuptocancer has taken to minimise the risk of a safeguarding incident or concern occurring in the first place, for example through robust onboarding processes (including DBS checks where appropriate) and provision of training. The policies and guidance also let staff know how to spot, report and respond to incidents and concerns, and provide them with assurance that any incidents and concerns will be handled sensitively, taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.

Manuptocancer reviews these policies and guidance regularly to ensure that we are maintaining appropriate safeguarding standards.
